The City of Pinellas Park’s public works department provides a range of services throughout the year, and it has a special event on the agenda for this fall.
The entire community is invited to join in the Pinellas Park BBQ Cook Off and Rodeo for a full afternoon and evening of fun. Local grillers will be putting their skills to the test in the pork BBQ competition, and prizes will be awarded in three categories.
Along with the food, the function will boast a rodeo as well as live entertainment and a beer tent. The kids can burn off some steam in the children’s game area, and everyone is reminded to bring folding chairs or portable seating so they can sit back and relax, although coolers are not permitted. The proceeds from the day will be donated to several community service groups.
