A plant is a living gift that many moms appreciate, and a Pinellas Park area fundraiser will have lots of them to choose from.
Members of the Clearwater Garden Club have been growing an assortment of houseplants to include in the Club’s annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale, and the proceeds will help to fund its activities throughout the year. It will take place just in time for the holiday, and it was noted that the prices for the assorted greenery will be kept low.
People attending the sale will be able to make their selections from hundreds of plants, and they will all have been lovingly cared for so that they will thrive in their new homes. In response to the pandemic, buyers are asked to observe social distancing protocols.
Hosting a member-driven activity like this gives an organization a way to raise funds without having to spend a lot to do it. A company that offers brochure printing services will be able to supply the group with plant care leaflets to hand out to each person who makes a purchase.
The Clearwater Garden Club has made plans to host its Mother’s Day Sale on May 1st. The clubhouse where it will take place is located at 405 Seminole Street, and the doors will be open to the public from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.
