A city founded on news
F.A. Davis, a publisher from Philadelphia, founded the city when he bought 12,800 acres of land some time around 1911. He marketed the new community to northerners, particularly residents of Pennsylvania, by emphasizing the warm climate and the opportunity for agriculture. A corporation known as The Florida Association created model farms, and offered anyone who bought ten acres of farm land a free lot inside the city limits. By 1912, city lots were for sale separately, and Pinellas Park was incorporated formally in 1914.
Davis used colorful Brochures to promote his new town, a method that is still effective today. Realtors like Coldwell Banker, Century 21, and ReMax, as well as independent realtors have offices in Pinellas Park, and can benefit by creating Brochures for prospective clients, showing a property's amenities.
A diverse economy
Since Pinellas Park has easy access to Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, it's not surprising many maritime businesses have chosen to locate their operations here. In addition, the city boasts a varied economy, with Transitions Optical, luxury goods company Davidoff of Geneva, and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics here. Retailers are clustered in three areas along Park Boulevard: traditional restaurants, small businesses, and shops, and can be found at 49th Street, near the town's historic center. Another group is further east, where the Shoppes at Park Place offer a movie theater and big-box stores. The third group is on the western edge of Pinellas Park, where ethic shops make their home.
No matter what sort of business they conduct, any enterprise has to be able to communicate with its customers effectively. To do so, they may choose to work with Stationery printers to create an attractive letterhead. Since this may be the only communication a company has with a customer, it must convey a professional impression. In addition, the company will want to make certain any of its employees who regularly meet with customers are equipped for the task. Here, they may work with a business card printing company to create attractive cards for employees' use.
Arts and culture
Pinellas Park is known for the many cultural events that take place here. A number are held in the bandshell that stands behind city hall. Among these is the annual “Country in the Park” festival, which offers people a chance to enjoy concerts, rides, NASCAR displays, and the work of artisans who display their arts and crafts.
Events like these can benefit when organizers work with flyer printing companies to create a handout that lists the vendors and their locations.
More fun is had when patrons attend a concert given by the Pinellas Park Civic Orchestra, or the Sunsation Show Chorus. These groups regularly perform in the Performing Arts Center, which offers 500 seats for audience members. Performing arts groups can benefit if organizers work with poster printing companies, which can create colorful Posters for any event.
