Duke Energy Center for the Arts: The Mahaffey Theater presents Paw Patrol Live: The Great Pirate Adventure.
The Canadian children’s TV series Paw Patrol that follows a boy named Ryder and his posse of search and rescue pups. Each pooch has skills based on professions in the emergency service industry and protects the Adventure Bay community. Their doghouse transforms into different service vehicles and tools a firefighter, police, nurse, or aviation pilot may use. The show has developed into a media franchise with a hugely successful collection of toys.
The live-action show sees Ryder and his canine friends going on a pirate adventure. They travel the blue waters on the Sea Patroller to rescue their friends, Tracker and Carlos. The heroic pups also try to find the hidden pirate treasure before the chief antagonist, Mayor Humdinger.
Tickets start at $20 and the VIP package includes admission to a premium seat and a photo opportunity with the show’s characters. Those living in cities such as Largo, Dunedin, and Pinellas Park can attend nearby events like these.
