The Florida Water Environment Association believes that it is never too soon for kids to learn how to become good stewards of their world. Pinellas Park is set to welcome families for a day dedicated to fun and learning, and this event is free and open to all who are interested.
The planners of the festivities have worked hard to create a day that will be both fun and exciting, and the schedule for the occasion is filled with activities that are geared towards those who are age six and up. One of these will be an awareness raising “Walk for Water”, which will highlight the importance of this natural resource.
As well as the walk, there will be lots to see and do. The kids can explore a variety of vehicles in the touch-a-truck area, and interactive displays will help to bring the fun. Various community organizations will lend a hand, and music and other entertainment has been included in the plans as well.
Hosting a day that brings the community together in support of a cause can be a great way for a group to educate the public. A banner printing company will be able to prepare Banners, Signs, and large decorative items that can make an experience like this even better for all those who take part.
This celebration, which will make Pinellas Park’s England Brothers Park the place to be for local families who care about their environment, will be taking place on March 7. It has been organized through the efforts of the South Cross Bayou Education Program.
