Becoming licensed to teach in the state of Florida may be easier than some think, and a free public information session will soon be held in Pinellas Park that will explore possible paths to this career choice.
A representative of American Board who had been specially trained in the field of helping people become certified to teach in Florida will be addressing those who come to the event, and will bring along an assortment of the exam preparation guides and other materials that will be used. The spokesperson will be discussing both how those who hold a bachelor degree and also paraprofessionals, substitute educators and teachers who are working with an emergency or temporary certificate can become full time teachers in about one year.
American Board helps educators in Florida become certified to teach in chemistry, physics, biology, math, general science English and genera elementary education.
