A multi-genre musical performance is taking place in St. Petersburg next month, as the Ries Brothers and some accompanying artists stop by.
The Ries Brothers’ live performances have earned them reputable support slots and appearances at major festivals. They have toured with G Love & Special Sauce and served as their backing band, and they have also supported artists like Stick Figure, 311, Galactic, Pepper, and Stephen Marley. The duo has also performed at festivals such as Sunfest and Gasparilla.
Despite the pandemic interrupting their touring plans, they made use of their time off by releasing CoVIDEOs with notable musicians. In 2021, they released a remixed reggae version of their song "Take It Back," featuring Julian Marley.
The tickets to attend the event will cost $20 when bought in advance and $28 when bought at the door. Tickets can be bought through the Eventbrite listing. Attendees must be 18 years or older. Poster printing is a great way for organizers to get the word out about performances like this.
The event location will be at the Floridian Social Club at 687 Central Avenue North St. Petersburg. It will take place on Friday, July 14 from 7:00 pm, with the doors opening an hour earlier.
