The 6th annual Royal Ball hosted by the St. Pete Glitter Queens is taking place next month. It is a fundraising event for the Beth Dillinger Foundation.
The theme of this year’s ball is “Mod about the ‘60s … Peace, Love and Music.” Guests are encouraged to dress up in 60s mod attire or cocktail casual.
Guests will enjoy a sit-down dinner, dancing and musical entertainment from The Impac, a 60s revival group. There will also be a cash bar and a silent auction of items donated by local businesses and individuals.
All guests will receive a program and advertisements are available for purchase from $100 up to $10,000.
The Beth Dillinger Foundation provides help to the less fortunate in the St. Petersburg area. It has a scholarship fund, operates Beth’s Closet and Hope Chest which provide clothing, Beth’s Corner for foster children and Nourish to Flourish provides food to underfed local children.
The organizers have distributed a flyer no doubt provided by a local printing company. This flyer can be easily and inexpensively distributed to nearby communities such as Pinellas Park.
The Royal Ball will be held at the St. Petersburg Marriot Clearwater on September 16 from 7:00 to 11:00 PM. Tickets are $75 each or $700 for a table of eight. For the most up-to-date information, visit the event website.
