The Naples Zoo has scheduled an important fundraiser, and would like to see a great turnout.
ZOObilee is an annual event for the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens, allowing guests to enjoy superior cuisine from Naples' caterers and restaurants while they enjoy a fun evening at the zoo. The money raised at the ZOObilee will be used for expansion and growth at the facility.
During the evening, in addition to enjoying delicious food, attendees will be able to explore the botanical garden located at the zoo. Also, the evening will include live music, animal encounters, and more. The event is for adults 21 years of age and over.
The Naples Zoo is also a botanical garden, which is now home to a number of exotic plants and mature trees, since it was first founded in 1919. The animals were not introduced until 50 years after the garden was planted, and the exhibits were designed to use the space around the old growth trees efficiently. Since the zoo needed to save space, visitors are often close to the animals, sometimes only a few feet away.
The prestigious Association of Zoos and Aquariums has accredited the Naples Zoo, which is a member of the American Association of Zoo Keepers.
