The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will organize a walk in Naples to support mental health.
The Hope Shines Walk is a one-day experience where people can help raise awareness and funds for the mental health programs offered by NAMI. The money earned at the walk will help the organization provide free support to those with mental illnesses. There are multiple sponsorships available for companies interested in helping NAMI’s cause. The tiers range from $500 to $7,500 and will include benefits like logo representation on registration tables and T-Shirts.
NAMI is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health support to the community through free programs like Sarah Ann Life Skills & Support Program and Self-Directed Care. The Naples-based group offers help to the Collier County community and has partnered with several other local organizations, including the Naples Children Foundation and Collier County Housing Authority. NAMI hosts support groups for families and individual adults.
The Hope Shines Walk will take place on Friday, May 1 at 5:30 pm. The event is at Cambier Park and will cost $35 per person. Those who want a T-shirt can pay $45. Businesses can pay between $70 and $175 to sponsor families at the walk. Nonprofits that hold walks like this can use Print shops to create ads for their fundraising activities.
