Naples to host fine art show
This October will mark the return of the Naples Fine Art Show, putting unique works in many genres up for display and sale.
The event, now in its 5th year, is a juried show for fine arts and crafts. All work must be handmade by the artist present at the show. Work includes disciplines such as painting, sculpture, and jewelry, with successful works showing both a strong sense of graphic design and skilled craftsmanship. The show will also feature local food vendors and live music to create a festive atmosphere. Admission will be free, with a $5 parking fee going to benefit the Boy Scouts of America.
The show will include a juried set of Professional Artist Awards, with a total of $1,500 distributed amongst seven selected artists and an additional ten non-monetary Awards of Distinction. There will also be a Budding Artists competition for students in middle and high school. The Naples Fine Art Show is part of the Hot Works event series promoted by Patty Narozny, which includes similar events in other parts of Southwest Florida such as Boca Raton, Estero, and Sarasota as well as the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
