Naples tasting event to showcase tropical fruits

The Naples Botanical Garden will host a special event in June where people can learn about tropical fruits.

Tasting the Tropics is an experience that invites families to try tropical fruits while learning about how they are grown and harvested. There will be several specialty tours that teach people about fruits from specific regions, such as the Caribbean and Asia. Attendees can take part in activities like the Naples Botanical Garden Plant Sale and WONDER: Little Green Thumbs. Guests will get to see live demonstrations on many topics, including coconut processing, vanilla, and mangoes.

The Naples Botanical Garden is an educational facility that aims to preserve tropical habitats while inspiring people to protect nature. The attraction is home to many unique gardens, such as the Kapnick Brazilian Garden, Marcia and L. Bates Lea Asian Garden, and the Foster Succulent Garden. Many programs are offered at the organization for adults and children. The garden also hosts events like ChromaFlora, Nature’s Palette, and Blooming at Work.

The tropical fruit-themed festival will be held on June 27 and 28. Specialty tours start at 8:30 am, and live demonstrations will begin at 9:00 am. Tickets to enter the garden will cost $27 for adults and $12 for children. The tours will cost $15 per person, though members of the Naples Botanical Garden will get a discount. Organizations that host tasting experiences like this may rely on poster printing services to share event details with consumers.
