Naples set to celebrate Florida Everglades
The Everglades are a large area of Florida wetlands that are home to a diverse range of species, some of which cannot be found anywhere else, and a Naples event will pay homage to this natural resource.
The Collier Museum at Government Center has plans in the works to host Exploring the Everglades Family Day, which will be an event with lots to offer all ages. It will explore the wetlands and explain why they matter so much, and entry is included with admission to the venue.
The planners of the day have pulled out all the stops to make it both fun and informative. Those who participate will become “Everglades Experts,” and will discover the plants and animals that call it home. They will find out what makes it unique as well as the threats it faces, and what can be done to help by both individuals and communities.
Many people care about the natural world and want to learn more about what they can do to be good environmental stewards. Information events can help them to do so, and a brochure printing company will be able to prepare a variety of materials for distribution.
