The Naples Botanical Garden will hold a two-day community experience in August that celebrates waterlilies.
The Waterlily Weekend is an event where people can learn more about flowers while checking out beautiful waterlily displays at the Naples Botanical Garden. There will be several flower-themed activities for guests to enjoy at the garden, such as the Victoria Waterlily Encounter and WONDER: Floating Flora. People can also take part in nature journaling sessions and go on special guided tours through the garden. The tours will cost extra to join.
The flower-themed event will also have a competition that invites photographers to submit photos of waterlilies. Those who win the contest will have their photographs printed and displayed throughout the festival. The event is open to amateur photographers, and all pictures submitted to the contest must be original and without copyright infringements. People must enter the photos for the event by July 21st. The winners will be selected by July 31st.
The Waterlily Weekend will be held on August 29th and August 30th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The festival is included in the admission cost of entering the Naples Botanical Garden, which is $27 per person. The Walk Among the Waterlilies Tour will cost $85 per person, and the Waterlilies and Beyond Guided Tour is $15. Gardens that hold fests like this may use printing services to create themed ads for their celebrations.
