The QBE Shootout, a long-running pro golf tournament in Naples, will be complemented this year by a country music festival.
The musical event, called Live Fest, allows attendees to enjoy food, drink, and music on the driving range. Headlining the show is ACM award winner Thomas Rhett, who will be performing in support of his upcoming fifth studio album, “Country Again: Side A.” Supporting acts include Cole Swindell, known for his hit “Single Saturday Night”; Runaway June, a three-woman bluegrass band that has received considerable acclaim; and southwest Florida veterans the Ben Allen Band, best known for their frontman’s appearance on The Voice.
Live Fest coincides with the QBE Shootout, with combined tickets available. The nationally-televised PGA Tour event, played during a break in the main tour, is a team tournament with a prize fund of over $3m, and typically draws many spectators to Naples. Businesses and events often take advantage of sporting events like this by using tools like poster printing and special sales to attract new customers. Live Fest aims for a family atmosphere, and children under 10 will be admitted free with a ticketed adult. Food and drink will be available on the driving range.
Naples’ Live Fest will take place on the evening of December 11 at the Tiburon Golf Club at the Ritz-Carleton Golf Resort Naples.
