Lighting the holidays in Naples

A traditional event is on the schedule for Naples, to begin the holiday season.

The 47th Annual Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting will be held on 5th Avenue South, bringing music, food, and fun to the community. Among the activities planned are a skating rink, a visit from Santa Claus, a living nativity scene, and a special event courtesy of participating restaurants on 5th Avenue. A VIP long table will be set up, where guests can dine on the street.

A live concert will be presented by Ghaleb Emachah, a world-class tenor and classical Flamenco guitarist. Born in Venezuela and known simply as Ghaleb, he sang the national anthem in 2015 for the Florida Panthers, and became the voice of the team. An international touring star, Ghaleb has thus far released three albums.

Attendees are invited to stroll along 5th Avenue South, a pedestrian-friendly area where visitors will find it easy to visit shops, galleries, and the 30 bars and restaurants that line the thoroughfare. The area is also home to theaters, and live music is played during Evening on Fifth events. At the holidays, the shops and restaurants are especially festive and extend a warm welcome.

The Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting is set for two days, December 4, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, and December 5, from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm. Banner printing can be used to provide seasonal decorations for outdoor events like this.
