Comedian to perform in Naples
As stand-up comedy returns to clubs across the country, Naples will host Florida-born comedian and rapper Lil Duval for a weekend of shows this August.
The shows will feature Duval’s mixture of music and comedy, often including satirical versions of popular songs or observations on relationships. There will be six performances, two per night over a weekend.
Duval first broke out in the 2000s through a series of underground comedy albums as well as collaborations with well-known comedians like Cedric the Entertainer as well as hip-hop acts like Snoop Dog, T. I., and Three Six Mafia. He is currently knowing for appearing in MTV’s talk panel show Guy Code. Duval was born in Jacksonville and his stage name is a reference to Duval County.
Duval’s performances will be full-capacity at Naples’ Off the Hook Comedy Club, with VIP seating available both near the stage and in suites located on raised platforms along the wall. As is common at comedy clubs, there will be a minimum of two food or drink items per visitor. Comedy events like these, often advertised through tools like flyer printing and social media, can feature everyone from local acts to nationally-known TV stars. Off the Hook’s upcoming calendar includes other familiar TV names like Jamie Kennedy and Carlos Mencia.
Lil Duval will perform at Off the Hook Comedy Club from August 13 to 15.
