Naples will be the site of the championships in one of the fastest-growing sports in the country—pickleball.
The Minto US OPEN Pickleball Championships is an international, world-class tournament, and will be held in the East Naples Community Park. This championship contest is the largest in the sport, and is growing every year.
The tournament includes mixed doubles, doubles, and singles, and will be played by athletes of all ages and skills in a park boasting 64 pickleball courts. Banner printing can be used to provide decorations for outdoor events like this.
The event runs from April 18 through April 25. It actually begins April 17, a Friday, with Kids Day; the next day is Margaritaville Party in the Park, which runs from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. There will be food and live music, and courts will be open for those who wish to practice. Attendees can watch the pros on the Zing Zang Championship Court, which will also be the site of the USA vs Canada Wheelchair event. Both are free.
April 19 is Singles Day, and April 20 is Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles. April 21 is Mixed Doubles, then April 22 is Men's Doubles, at the professional level. April 23 is professional Women's Doubles, and April 24 is Professional Doubles. The final games are on April 25 and CBS Sports Network plans to cover the last day of play.
