Author to offer writing workshop in Naples

Books on Third in Naples will host a two-day writing workshop in April with author and illustrator Kate Feiffer.

Morning Pages & Creative Momentum is a workshop experience where people can learn how to channel their creativity by working with an experienced author. The class is inspired by Feiffer’s 2024 novel Morning Pages and also uses techniques from The Artist’s Way. Those who attend the workshop will learn about the benefits of journaling and receive advice on how to make time for writing in a busy life. The workshop will also help students quieten their inner critics.

Kate Feiffer is an experienced writer who has worked on several Books, including My Mom is Trying to Ruin My Life, My Side of the Car, and The Problem with the Puddles. Feiffer is also the event producer for Islanders Write, a writing festival that started in 2014 and is held at Martha’s Vineyard. She has worked with organizations such as the Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation and has been featured in publications like the MV Arts & Ideas Magazine.

The two-day writing workshop will be held on Thursday, April 16 and Friday, April 17 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. Tickets for the workshop will cost $30, which will include coffee and pastries from Chef Clifford. Those who want a copy of Morning Pages can pay $58.99 for their tickets. Writers who hold workshops like this can share their Business Cards with students who want to take more courses.
