ACT/SAT test preparation training announced for Naples

Naples area residents preparing for the ACT or SAT tests have an opportunity to improve their skills and gain confidence in a mid-July training.

The Naples Regional Library will host two workshops within a single day to help students prepare for both the SAT and ACT college entrance exams. These workshops are perfect for juniors and seniors looking to improve their test-taking skills as they look forward to applying for college or university. These sessions will be led by expert Ali Tozer, founder of Rising Scholars Foundation and SPS Tutor LLC. On its website, Rising Scholars Foundation Inc. states:

“Our mission is to empower students of low socioeconomic status by providing comprehensive academic support services. We believe that every individual deserves equal access to quality education and the opportunity to thrive academically.”

Mr. Tozer's instruction will correlate to the most current SAT and ACT formats. Strategies covered in the training will include test-taking, time management, and identifying high-yield types of questions. Business card printing and similar printing services help organizers prepare for events such as this.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 22. The SAT training will occur from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the ACT workshop immediately following from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The address for the venue is 650 Central Avenue in Naples. Students may register for either one or both sessions, depending on their test preparation needs. Snacks and light refreshments will be available between sessions. The cost is $60 per session. No scholarships are available for this event.
