Test to put correctional service workers through their paces

A career in correctional services can be physically demanding. Those who are considering seeking employment in the field can measure their readiness by participating in the Physical Ability Test (PAT), which is being offered by the Miami Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department.

The department has created the PAT to determine the level of physical fitness for all of its applicants. It was noted that the tasks included in the set of exercises have been chosen because they are all indicate an individual’s strength and endurance.

The PAT includes activities such as a 40-inch barricade jump, a run, crawl, dummy drag and other components. Those who would like to take part are required to register ahead of time, and they are asked to make sure they bring their printed ticket as well as their PAT payment form and Liability Waiver.

Each of the participants in the test will follow the same instructions and have the same amount of time to complete the tasks at hand. Stationery printers will be able to design and Print any business Forms or other items needed for an event like this.

Miami Dade College’s North Campus has been chosen to host the testing, and it will be taking place on February 1. There is no fee to register.
