Miami and the rest of Dade County have made a commitment to providing its residents with a wide variety of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, and those who would like to learn about this are invited to come to an event where they can have their questions answered, plus a whole lot more.
The sixth annual Great Parks Summit will showcase the 50-year plan that the city, and the rest of Dade County as well, has developed for its parks recreational spaces and other outdoor areas. This was developed in recognition that these types of places bring people together, and there were some areas that needed to be addressed. Presentation Folders can be designed to give to all those who attended events such as this.
The summit will feature experts in the field of recreational and urban planning from all over the country. Along with the Miami-Dade parks plan, it will provide an opportunity for them to share both current best practices and the latest ideas as well. There will be presentations and interactive sessions, and the winner of the Neat Streets Maintenance and Beautification Contest will be announced.
The date for the Great Park Summit has been set as April 15, starting at 8:30 am at the Miami-Dade College Wolfson Campus. More information, as well as an opportunity to register, can be found on the event’s website.
