Miami’s Seeking Education Empowers Knowledge (SEEK) is an organization that helps young people, and it has issued a request for volunteers to help it assist terminally ill children and their families.
SEEK has put out a call for people to help with its adopt-a-meal event, which will be taking place in Miami’s Ronald McDonald House. Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to participate, but minors will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. They are asked to wear comfortable shoes and other clothing that is suited to the task at hand, which will be preparing and serving food.
The meal prepared will be for children and families who are utilizing the services of Ronald McDonald House. This can be greatly appreciated by the parents and siblings of a child who is receiving medical treatment, and can also save them time, energy, and funds during a difficult time. Stationery printers can provide those who plan events such as this with personalized certificates of appreciation that can be given to each person who lent a helping hand.
The SEEK Foundation Adopt-A-Meal event is scheduled to take place on May 20 at 1145 NW 14th Terrace in Miami. Those who are interested in taking part will need to provide their own transportation, and anyone with questions can contact the organization through its website.
