Those seeking to step back in time to the Roaring Twenties should note that Miami will host The Great Gatsby Party this January.
The Great Gatsby Party will be a decadent throwback to the era of flappers and speakeasies, and will offer guests the opportunity to party Jay Gatsby style. The event will be hosted in four different cities across the county, with Miami being the last city to close the event out in style.
The location, The Historic Alfred I Dupont Building, has been picked for its elegance, decadence, and ambiance fit to create an atmosphere transportive enough to make guests feel like they have stepped back into an era of sophistication and merrymaking. Guests will be highly encouraged to dress in their finest flapper-inspired attire and black-tie ensembles.
There will be delicate hors d'oeuvres such as petite fours and caviar, and a 1920s-inspired bar menu will be offered, including Freixenet Cava. Entertainment for the evening will include musical performances, dancers, acrobats, and aerialists.
