Next month, the Ultra Music Festival will be returning to its roots when it sets up camp in Miami to provide a weekend of energizing electronic music.
The Ultra Music Festival is considered the world’s premier electronic music celebration, which started in Miami 20 years ago as a small concert on the beach. It has since grown from a one-day event to a prominent worldwide brand, with similar festivals popping up in Asia, Europe, and other parts of the world. The festival will serve as showcase for popular DJs and producers, and attendees will likely hear breakout songs being performed for the first time.
Top artists in the EDM genres of techno, trance, house, and drum and bass will be performing. The line-up includes well-known names such as Afrojack, Armin van Burren, Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, and many more. As there will be hundreds of artists performing this year, the festival will follow a back-to-back format, in which consecutive sets will be performed with DJs handing over the turntables mid-set.
