Miami blues festival to celebrate fifth year

During Art Basel Miami next month, The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center will hold the 5th Annual Art, Blues & Soul Festival.

For over four decades, The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, has been the cornerstone of arts education for Miami’s African American community. It promotes awareness of the diverse cultural perspectives of people of African Heritage, as well as provides access to high-quality education for youth in the areas of drama, visual arts, dance, and music. The festival intertwines with this mission by celebrating the diverse music and art of Black Miami.

The festival will feature Grammy Award-winning artist Chrisette Michele as headliner. An R&B and soul singer, Michele is best known for her hit song “Epiphany (I’m Leaving).” Other musicians who will perform are Glen Jones, Jon B., and The Harden Project. There will also visual artists displaying thought-provoking art works, as well as vendors selling food and drink.

Festivals are often advertised through Flyers, making flyer printing services an attractive option for organizers of such events.

This milestone anniversary of a popular event will take place on Saturday, December 4 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will be held at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center on 6161 Northwest 22nd Avenue. General admission is $35, while reserved seating is $55 and VIP is $85.
