Miami beer fest to benefit scholarships

Next month, Brew Miami will be back in town to serve up some craft brews and local bites, with all proceeds going towards Florida International University (FIU) scholarships.

The beer festival will be hosted by FIU staff members in tandem with local breweries and the Brewers Alliance. Money raised from event tickets and activities will go towards scholarships for current and future students of FIU. Brew Miami’s mission is to spread awareness of the local craft breweries and promote the growing craft brew industry.

The event will feature not only a variety of local craft beer, but also complementary food options from area restaurants for attendees to pair with different brews. There will also be a wine garden, live music, and games.

General admission tickets will include unlimited beer, a sample cup, food samples, and access to the event beginning at 6:00 pm. VIP tickets will include everything general admission does plus access to the VIP lounge, and early event access at 5:00 pm.

Organizers of festivals like these often choose to decorate event grounds or venues with festival Banners, which may be printed using local banner printing services.

Brew Miami is slated for March 5 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It will take place at the Riccardo Silva Stadium on 11310 Southwest 17th Street. General admission is $60, and VIP admission is $125.
