Next month, Wyn 317 will host a screening of “Seaper Powers: The Movie,” a children’s animated film about a magical ocean journey, created by local filmmaker Kim Cameron.
This is Cameron’s first full-length animated film and is based on the first book in her original series, entitled “In Search of Bleu Jay’s Treasure.” The film is about a young girl who, while vacationing on the island of St. Thomas, discovers magical seagrass that grants her the powers to talk to sea creatures. Along with a trio of ocean critter friends, she embarks on exciting adventure to find buried treasure.
The hosting venue will be Wyn 317, a chic, urban art gallery that showcases an eclectic mix of art and artists that represents the diversity of the various Miami neighborhoods. The family-friendly event will be hosted in a safe, outdoor space that adheres to current COVID-19 guidelines. Organizers of similar film events may choose to utilize poster printing to create attractive, illustrative Posters to advertise the event.
Seaper Powers: The Movie is slated to screen on Friday, April 2. The doors to the screening will open at 6:00 pm, while the film itself will begin at 7:00 pm. The venue address is 4320 Northwest 2nd Avenue, Miami. Tickets are free, and registration is available on its Eventbrite listing.
