Haunted concert to illuminate popular Miami attraction

To celebrate the Halloween season, the Listeso String Quartet will hold the event series Candlelight Open Air: A Haunted Evening of Classical Compositions at Miami’s Jungle Island attraction.

Jungle Island is an 18-acre zoological park nestled between South Beach and the downtown Miami area. It not only features informative exhibits containing rare and exotic animals, but it also hosts a 13,800 square foot Treetop Ballroom where events, including October’s haunted concert series, are frequently held.

The concert will introduce attendees to the Listeso String Quartet’s classical compositions of popular Halloween songs, such as “This is Halloween,” “Thriller,” and “The Addams Family (Theme).” The compositions will be played in the venue’s open-air space complete with the haunting ambiance of candlelight. Seating and spacing will conform to COVID-19 guidelines. No outside food or beverages will be allowed, but there will be food and drink options available for purchase inside the venue.

The Jungle Island haunted concert series is scheduled to run for four Sundays in October, which will be October 10, 17, 24, and 31. On each day, there will be two timeslots to choose from – 6:45 pm and 9:15 pm. Tickets range from $35 to $55 and can be purchased from the event website Fever.
