In the tropical world, the mango is one of the most frequently cultivated fruits. Though the plant is native to South Asia, today it can be found throughout the whole world. Anybody who is a fan of this richly flavored and colorful fruit may just want to take a visit to the panhandle state this summer.
On July 14 and 15, the Fairfield Tropical Botanic Garden in Miami will be celebrating its 20th annual Mango Festival. Every year, the festival boasts of having the world’s most sizeable accumulation of mangos. The festival is also known for being the only the place in the world where mango auctions are held. Mango lovers who attend the festival are introduced to fiberless mangos, which are considered to be superior when compared to other mangos in horticultural terms. Flyer printing could be used in conjunction with other means of advertisement for this unique festival.
There will be much to do and see at the garden. Participants will be able to shop for mangos and mango trees, learn from the inspiring lectures, taste the mango smoothies and the one-of-a-kind mango brunch, participate in the auction, purchase mango merchandise and botanical art, or watch the culinary demonstrations in which the chefs will teach various ways to prepare mango dishes.
There will also be fun activities in which children can participate. Kids will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on educational activities, exploring how plants have evolved over time as they learn to differentiate between ferns, mosses, algae, flowering plants, and conifers.
