Bitcoin convention moves to Miami this summer

In June, Miami will become the new host city for what is expected to be the largest bitcoin event in history.

Bitcoin 2021 is a special convention and gathering space for the best and brightest in the bitcoin industry. It was originally scheduled to take place in Los Angeles; however, due to continuing COVID-19 restrictions and arrangement difficulties in California, organizers decided to move it to the Miami area. It is expected to be the largest event ever to center on the cryptocurrency, with an estimated 5,000 to 10,000 in-person attendees and hundreds of thousands of virtual attendees from around the globe.

The convention will feature a lineup of prominent Bitcoin speakers, such as Jack Dorsey, Tony Hawk, and Senator Cynthia Lummis. The full lineup of speakers can be found on the convention's website. The event will include panels on topics such as Bitcoin mining, financial infrastructure, and investment pitches.

Bitcoin 2021 will be a two-day event occurring on June 4 and June 5 at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center. General admission is $1,300 unless paying in Bitcoin, which discounts the price to $900. The exclusive Whale Pass is $14,000, or $13,000 using Bitcoin.

For hybrid events like this, organizers often employ a team of graphic design artists to make sure the hosting website is aesthetically pleasing for virtual attendees.
