The Beaux-Arts Festival is a fine arts show, providing live music and entertainment for guests at the University of Miami next month.
There will be at least 300 exhibitions on campus and a section dedicated to children’s art experiences, on top of guaranteed free admission to the Lowe Art Museum.
This juried art show is maintained by Beaux-Arts, a volunteer organization with a mission to foster an appreciation for the arts in South Florida. It employs a number of outreach programs that support the Lowe Art Museum.
A handful of winners will be selected out of student artists who present their 3D sculptures, ceramics, glass displays, graphic designs, crafted jewelry, oil or acrylic paintings, photographs, and mixed media creations during the fine arts contest. Those who stay on campus will have time to enjoy other art shows such as the future Zachary Balber Exhibition and the Feos by Teatro Y Su Doble.
The Beaux-Arts Festival was once called the “Clothesline Sale” and introduced aspiring artists to potential buyers. Currently, Beaux-Arts is accepting applications for talented artists, advertisers, and food vendors to prepare for a large student body gathering at the Festival of Art 2020.
The Beaux-Arts Festival is open to patrons from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on January 18 to 19. Arts and Culture organizations are likely to make custom pamphlets at Print shops for promoting their fundraiser programs.
