The New Times’ Annual Iron Fork cooking competition will return for its 12th year. The event will take place at the James L. Knight Center and Hyatt Regency in Miami.
The affair features some of the best restaurants in Miami facing off for the honor of winning the Iron Fork Skillet of Excellence Award. About a dozen or more restaurants have already signed up to send their chefs to compete for the prize.
Competing restaurants can obtain printing services for any banner printing needs they may have to showcase their business. Some of the restaurants who have already committed to participating are Del Frisco’s Grille, Vicky Bakery, Planet 57, Vacillate Wine Bar, and Biscayne Cowboys.
This year, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite dish of the evening and the winner will be presented the People’s Choice Award. While enjoying the tastes of the evening, attendees can enjoy listening to music and mingling with others.
Tickets prices vary from $40 to $80 depending on whether they are purchased in advance or at the door (if not sold out). VIP tickets are also available and those ticket holders will be able to enjoy the VIP lounge with complementary drinks.
Presented by Wild Fork Foods, Iron Fork 2019 will be held on Thursday, October 3 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The venue address is 400 SE Second Avenue.
