Workshop for dental professionals arranged in Jupiter

An upcoming workshop in Jupiter will give dental professionals a chance to learn some of the latest techniques in the field.

Clinicians who participate in the course will be able to go to a live, hands-on event using both clinical-based lectures and evidence as part of the training. The workshop will cover the steps following a diagnosis suggesting the need for a full-arch dental implant, including planning the treatment, and clinical procedures. The workshop, which covers a day-and-a-half, is meant for clinicians who would like to both plan the treatment, and then treat dental implants.

The objectives of the course are to help clinicians understand the theory, principles, and procedures necessary to complete a full-arch reconstruction; to give them the knowledge and confidence in the procedures necessary to restore implants; to expose clinicians to digital workflows and procedures for planning treatments; and to become familiar with the techniques used to restore both full-arch fixed cases, and implant overdentures.

A full-arch implant is used when an entire row of teeth needs to be repaired, as opposed to a single-tooth implant.

The workshop dates are June 10 and June 11, a Friday and Saturday. The hours are from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm on June 10, and from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm on June 11. The venue is the National Dentex Education Center on Military Trail in Jupiter. Organizers of events like this can work with Print shops to develop appropriate course materials.
