Southern competition returns to Jupiter

The second annual Southern Sips Bartending Competition will bring hospitality professionals together for an evening centered on mixology and regional flavors. The event is presented by Munyon's Paw-Paw and highlights bartenders from across South Florida.

Participants will craft original beverages using ingredients and spirits influenced by the state’s agricultural heritage. Judges and attendees will evaluate competitors not only on flavor, but also on creativity, presentation, and overall guest experience. Organizers describe the event as a showcase of industry skill, emphasizing storytelling and service alongside technical ability.

Guests will sample each featured cocktail and engage directly with the bartenders behind the creations. The gathering is designed for those interested in mixology as well as community members seeking a curated social experience. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Nourishing Food for Thought. Organizers state that all profits will be directed to the nonprofit.

The event is limited to individuals age 21 and older. It will proceed regardless of weather conditions. General admission tickets are priced at $25.00, with an additional $0.63 service fee per ticket. Tickets to the event can't be purchased through the official event listing.

As with many regional events like this one, hosts often use poster printing to build community awareness.
