The AustinBlu Foundation and The River Center will co-host the annual AustinBlu Family Fishing Tournament this June in Jupiter.
The event aims to promote boating safety awareness while engaging participants in a day-long fishing competition suitable for all ages.
The tournament features two distinct formats. In the release contest, anglers earn points by catching, photographing, and releasing fish across various species. The harvest contest challenges participants to reel in the biggest fish in four categories: crevalle jack, sheepshead, any snapper species, and any type of grunt.
Fishing will officially begin at 7 am, with lines required to be out of the water by 3 pm. All submissions, including weight verifications for harvested catches, must be completed by 4 pm. The event will conclude with a post-tournament celebration beginning at 5 pm. The celebration will feature food and drinks from local vendors. Awards for top anglers in each category will be disclosed at 7 pm.
The tournament will support the AustinBlu Foundation’s mission to educate the public about marine safety and raise awareness about the significance of preparedness on the water. Sponsorship opportunities remain available, though space is limited for select categories.
Banner printing may be used by organizers to highlight the award area of events such as this one.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 14th, from 7 am to 7 pm at River Center, 805 North US Highway 1, Jupiter, Florida.
