Oliver Anthony is on his “Out of the Woods” tour, in which he’ll make 40 stops at venues around the world.
Anthony (real name Christopher Anthony Lunsford) emerged onto the music scene in 2023 with his single “Rich Men North of Richmond,” which he released independently. The song made its debut at the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This is the first time any artist has debuted at No. 1 without having charted anywhere else beforehand.
YouTube listeners have streamed the song over 77 million times, and it has over 115 million streams on various platforms. He is also doing well on iTunes, where his song “I’ve Got to Get Sober” climbed to No. 3, and on Spotify, where “Ain’t Got a Dollar” was No. 1.
Anthony has been open about his personal struggles with addiction and mental issues, and he believes sharing his experiences has made it easier for audiences to relate to him. He says the songs connect with people at a visceral level. A review says:
“He’s gifted with supernatural raw talent. . . . Lyrics are off the hook, and his voice is unmatched.”
Anthony will be at the Abacoa Amphitheater on March 2. Tickets for the concert can be purchased online. When organizers set up events like this, they will often use poster printing to help advertise them.
