A pair of outdoor events are scheduled in Jupiter for April, subject to any action taken in response to the coronavirus outbreak.
The first will be the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the softball fields in Jupiter Community Park, 3377 Church Street.
On April 4, the Easter bunny will be greeting everyone and there will be bounce houses, art and crafts, face painting, and a Toddler Play Area. Children up to the age of 11 are invited to bring their Easter baskets and join in one of the three age-appropriate Easter Egg Hunts.
This year’s annual Coastal Fest will be coming to the Riverwalk’s Plaza Down Under in mid-April. As always, it will be free and family-friendly.
Traditionally the event offers live music, pirate characters and a pirate ship display for photo opportunities in the kids’ area. The kids’ area has games, pirate and mermaid themed activities and games. A Pirates Well will offer drinks for the adults.
Nonprofits will be on site passing out information about their programs, services, and missions. Many will have items for sale. Local artisans will be selling their one-of-a-kind creations and food trucks and vendors will be hawking food and treats such as shaved ice and ice cream.
Coastal Fest photographers will be taking pictures throughout the day. Pictures taken at events such as this often go to local Print shops to become part of the event’s promotional brochure printing.
This year’s Coastal Fest has been scheduled for April 18 from noon to 5:00 pm.
