Tribute band to never stop believin in Jupiter

A tribute band to the band Journey is coming to Jupiter, where audiences will hear some of the classics from one of the biggest bands of the 1970s.

Never Stop Believin’ take their name from one of Journey’s most well-known hits, “Don’t Stop Believin,” which they released in 1981.

The original band got together in 1973 in San Francisco and comprised former members of the Steve Miller Band, Santana, and Frumious Bandersnatch. They were most successful between 1978 and 1987, when they had a string of hits that included “Don’t Stop Believin’,” which is one of the best-selling songs in music history.

Over their career, Journey had 25 albums rated either gold or platinum, and their “Greatest Hits” album was certified 18X platinum.

Never Stop Believin’ has enjoyed sold out dates by delivering Journey’s hits with precision. The band has toured through Virginia, Texas, New York, Michigan, Louisiana, and Georgia, as well as abroad to Trinidad, Honduras, and Santo Domingo.

Stephen Alan now fronts the group, and is backed up by drummer Steve Quinto, Kam Falk on bass, Mike Murray on guitar, and musical director, vocalist and keyboardist Gary Bivona.

Never Stop Believin’ will now be at Jupiter’s Abacoa Amphitheater on Saturday, 18 May, starting at 7.30 pm. When concerts like this are scheduled, organizers often work with poster printing to further promote the band.
