This year the town of Jupiter will be hosting its annual Mega Bash to celebrate Independence Day. Baseball will be the name of the game.
Children can bounce around in the bounce houses, slide down inflatable slides, and participate in activities in the Kids’ Area.
One of the highlights for both evenings will be the ball games. Spectators on the first evening will get to enjoy The Fort Myers miracle challenging the Palm Beach Cardinals. The second day, the Jupiter Hammerheads will take on the Bradenton Marauders.
After the game, each night will have a band concert. The first night will be a Bon Jovi tribute band called Keep the Faith. A Tom Petty tribute, Time with Tom, will play on the second night. A ‘Spectacular Fireworks Show’ will follow the performances.
Two special Independence Day jerseys will be auctioned off. Winners will not only get the shirt, but will also meet their player and get a signed photo with him, no doubt making a great subject for later poster printing.
The event will be held at Roger Dean Stadium at 4751 Main Street in Jupiter. The Kids’ Area will open at 4:30 pm on July 3 and 4:00 pm on July 4. Gates will open at 4:30 pm each day with the game beginning at 6:05 pm.
