An upcoming event celebrates Jupiter for simply being Jupiter – a fun place to live.
The Town of Jupiter hosts the annual Jupiter Jubilee for residents of the area. The celebration typically comprises cultural, educational, civic, and entertainment components. The town has been holding the celebration since 2003, inspired by Jupiter’s 75th Anniversary Celebration, which took place in 2000.
At that time, a community get-together took place that succeeded in bringing members of the town together to celebrate living in Jupiter. The first party was such a hit that local leaders began considering making it an annual happening. Since that beginning, Jupiter has gotten together each February, just for fun.
Among the fun experiences planned are a Civic Fair, a Kids’ Fun Zone, food trucks, K9 demonstrations, and a water fill station. At the Civic Fair, attendees can learn about the civic organizations that serve Jupiter, while the Fun Zone will entertain children with attractions such as rock climbing and bounce houses. The food trucks are all local, and people are encouraged to fill their water bottles with Jupiter’s refreshing water. The police K9 unit will oversee the demonstrations.
Live music will be provided by Axcents, a local band, and DJ Jammin’ Jim will keep things lively. Finally, those who ride their bikes to the Jubilee can hand them over to a bike valet free of charge. Organizers of events like this can advertise it by using flyer printing to create handouts for distribution.
