Two running events are scheduled for Jupiter in January.
The first run will be on January 5, and will be the 5th Annual Kaitlin’s Angel Run. This will be AccuChip timed and it will be along a mapped course through Abacoa’s paved streets. T-Shirts with the event’s Logo Design and custom participation medals will be given out as long as supplies last. Special medals and wards will go to top finishers in every age division.
The race will start at 7:30 am at the Abacoa Town Center, 1200 Town Center Drive. All proceeds will go to the Kaitlin A. Kazanjian Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Also, Palm Beach Road Runners will be hosting its 22nd Annual Classics by the Sea which will feature a 5K, 10K, and a Kids’ 1 Miler. These will all be Saturday, January 11 in Carlin Park, 400 Florida A1A.
The 5K and 10K will be AccuChip timed and run on the same certified ocean course. Awards will be given in age divisions. Runners are asked to donate to the 2020 Toys for Tots campaign.
Registration for the 5K will be $35; the 10K will be $50, and the Kids’ 1 Miler will be $25. Registrants will receive long-sleeve tech shirts sporting the event’s graphic design.
The kids’ run will start the morning off at 7:10 am. Next, the 10K will start at 7:30 am and the 5K will start at 7:40 am.
