The PGA Honda Classic is only days away. The weeklong event will be on championship courses, and top golfers such as Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, and Sergio Garcia have all committed to play.
The Gardens Mall Grand Court will hold the kick-off party Thursday with hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, silent auction, and live music.
The following Monday will be the Monday Pro-Am. After practice rounds on Tuesday, the Honda Classic Cares Pro–Am will be presented by Tire Kingdom on Wednesday. Honda Classic begins on Thursday and continues until the final round on Sunday.
The day after the Classic will be the Palm Beaches First Tee, where nonprofessional golfers will get the opportunity to experience the same pin placements and conditions as the final round on Sunday.
Kids can enjoy the Junior Clinic hosted by PGA Tour Professionals and two evenings of Tire Kingdom Fireworks Spectaculars. On Saturday, Jupiter kids and parents can experience the Kids’ Zone where there will be contests, prizes, games, and interactive fun.
Children can play competitively with local top junior golfers in the Honda Classic Junior Par 3 Challenge, and in the Junior Honda Classic against golfers from 16 foreign countries and 20 states.
Many sponsors will be passing out tickets to these activities as part of their yearly Corporate Gifts.
The Honda Classic will be February 19 through 25, at the PGA National Resort and Spa at 400 Avenue of the Champions, Palm Beach Gardens.
