Jupiter goes outdoors for film festival


The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum will host its 5th annual Wild & Scenic Festival coming in mid-April. The two-evening experience will be a series of adventure and environmental international short films.









The purpose of the event is to illustrate our planet’s challenges, to show how communities are working to protect our environment, and to examine the beauty of nature, both environmental and human. The first night will feature 17 films and the second night will have 14 films. Running time for films each evening will be 105 minutes.





On the first evening of the festival, along with the films, the site will have food and beverage trucks, and StratOlites will be performing live. The second evening will also have food and beverage trucks on- site and Red Shoes Roulette will perform before the film screenings. Local community organizations will have representative there both nights passing out Flyers and Business Cards and talking with the guests about their programs and services.





The Wild & Scenic Film Festival will be Friday, April 12th and Saturday, April 13th from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm. Cost is $15 per person per night. The event will open at 6 pm and the films will begin at 7:40 pm.





Guests are advised to bring their own lawn chairs. The Lighthouse Museum is located on the Jupiter Inlet’s north side.
