Jupiter will be home to a celebration of all things Irish soon.
The Jupiter Irish Fest is a family-friendly event that showcases many different aspects of Irish culture. Attendees will learn how to properly pull a pint of Guinness, learn the sport of hurling, sample authentic Irish drinks and food, taste Irish whiskey, and enjoy listening to Irish music live, which also provides an opportunity to dance and sing to traditional tunes.
Attendees, both adults and children, are encouraged to attend in Irish costume as there will be costume contests for both age categories. A Battle of the Pipes and Drum bands is scheduled, and there will be an opportunity to shop for Irish merchandise and crafts. Raffles will be held to support local veterans’ groups, and a 50/50 auction is part of the fun. The grand prize is a giveaway of a trip to Ireland. Since there are so many activities happening, organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create a handout for attendees listing performers, vendors, and a schedule.
The Jupiter Irish Fest is scheduled for March 11 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and again Saturday March 12, from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm at the Abacoa Amphitheater on Main Street. Tickets for each day are sold separately. Children 12 and under will be admitted free of charge when a parent accompanies them. In addition, teachers, first responders, and veterans will also be admitted free when they present proper ID.
