The 1st annual Tropic Fest is taking place in Jupiter this March, presented by the Town of Jupiter itself.
Intended to be a yearly event, the festival will feature vendors selling island-themed arts and crafts which will likely include handmade jewelry, pottery and clothing, food and liquor will also be available for purchase.
Several community organizations will be on hand to provide information about programs and services. There is set to be a parade led by the Junkanoo Band, who will also be performing during the afternoon. Other musical performers include DJ Jon and the Floridian Band. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs to enjoy the music.
In order to keep the children entertained, activities such as face painting, hair braiding, and balloon twisting will also be available.
Vendor spaces of 10x10 feet are available for $35, or free for nonprofit organizations. Organizers are still looking for sponsors for this event.
To help advertise festivals like this, Jupiter Stationery printers are often asked to provide products such as Flyers and Posters. These are then distributed throughout the community.
Tropic Fest is being held at the Plaza Down Under on the Riverwalk on March 21 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Admission is free of charge.
