Travis Tritt is a traditional country artist with a touch of Southern rock. A native of Marietta, Georgia, Tritt first became interested in music when he sang in his church choir. He began writing music in high school, and was working at various jobs while also playing in a bluegrass group he founded. His bandmates encouraged him to concentrate on his music, rather than working a “regular” job. Warner Bros. Records signed him in 1989, and he released his first album on that label, “Country Club,” in 1990.
While he was with Warner Bros., he released a greatest hits package as well as seven studio albums, kicking off a prolific career. Over the years, seven of Tritt’s albums have been certified Platinum. “It’s All About Change,” released in 1991, was certified Triple-Platinum, and he has charted over 40 times on the Hot Country Songs chart.
A review says Tritt played an amazing acoustic concert where:
“. . . it felt like a few hundred of his closest friends were sitting in his living room listening to stories and songs.”
Travis Tritt will appear at the Abacoa Town Center Amphitheatre in Jupiter on August 18, at 8:00 pm. When concerts like this are scheduled, organizers can create advertisements for them by using poster printing.
