Boca Raton welcomes new luxury development
After a long approval process, local business leaders and city officials recently combined efforts to bring a new luxury residential construction project to Boca Raton.
In early August, the Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency approved a development plan for Modera Boca. The project will be co-developed by Mill Creek Residential (a Boca Raton-based residential housing firm) and Group P6. The new high-rise will consist of 306 units. Some of the amenities slated for the 12-story complex include a pool, lounge, fitness facility, dog park, clubhouse, and coworking spaces. Planners included upgrades to the surrounding area as well; those plans include renewal work for a nearby park, a Zen garden, and improvements to ease pedestrian traffic near Dixie Highway. Construction has already begun at the site, located at 400 South Dixie Highway. Banner printing and similar services from print shops can be used to signal new business construction.
Mill Creek Vice President of Development John Grimaldi stated his enthusiasm for the new complex:
Although its presence is national, Mill Creek Residential has local roots. The company began operations in 2011, boasts 47 multi-family sites, and has invested $8.4bn in its projects. William C. MacDonald serves as chairman, CEO, and president.
