The 16th Street Fair in Denver will bring arts, crafts, food and vendors to the downtown mall area. The annual event showcases new artists featuring their talent on the busiest pedestrian road in Colorado.
Unique goods that are handmade, created by designers and eager new artists, can be found throughout the festival. By participating as a vendor, artists are able to be in front of hundreds of potential buyers in the heart of the city. Handcrafted artwork and merchandise on display helps to grow a business, and business card printing in advance of such an event ensures the vendors have cards with contact information readily available to distribute.
The 16th Street Mall is known to have a higher traffic of pedestrians than any other area or event in the state. CBS News rated the event as one of the “Top Craft Shows in Denver.”
To be a vendor at the festival, an application must be submitted for approval. Categories include fine art, furniture, gift baskets, glass, prepacked gourmet foods, handmade clothing and toys, jewelry, potter, wood products and folk art. As this is a juried show, the items must be handmade. Other than pre-packaged food items, no other food or drink is allowed. Vendors must skirt the display tables or use tablecloths.
The 16th Street Fair will take place on September 27 and 28. Vendors may apply online.
