Local children are invited to bring their mothers out and enjoy the natural surroundings and wildlife of the area this Mother’s Day.
On the day, all mothers will be admitted to Pikes Peak at no charge when accompanied by others with a paid admission. The organizers might have selected both flyer printing and poster printing to share information about this outdoor event with people in the community who wish to treat their mothers.
Pikes Peak is offering families a safe and scenic location to enjoy some leisure time together while exploring what the park has to offer. Families will be able to take mom through the various trails to scenic vistas. Visitors can enjoy the North Slope Recreation area, the Historic Glen Cove Inn, the Crystal Reservoir Gift Shop, and the Summit House. They can also meet a local ranger to learn about fauna, myths, history, and wildlife.
The Mother’s Day celebration on Pikes Peak will be happening this Sunday, May 11, starting at 9:00 am at Pikes Peak, located at 5089 Pikes Peak Highway in Cascade, a short drive from Colorado Springs. All visitors to the park will pay general admission, although when accompanied by mothers, mom gets in free.
